Nice find Pure.
I have fought some guys that weren't actually there and I beat them so bad they disappeared.

It is not uncommon to see WWE branded merchandise appearing in the mainstream media. Often, these instances only become newsworthy when the holder of said merchandise is a celebrity - look no further than David Ortiz from this week's episode of RAW as an example. However, sometimes these brief allusions to our fandom surface in some very strange and unlikely places. Enter: K-pop!

While I am sure there have been more instances (I just can't remember when and where), two music videos stand out in my mind when it comes to connecting these two completely separate entities.

The first is a personal favourite, Clazziquai Project's Love Again MV.

@1:55, Horan is holding the WWF Championship many of us grew up seeing in the Attitude Era. Given the MV's theme, the belt's use is rather appropriate, but let's not forget what that belt ultimately stands for.

In 2NE1's I AM THE BEST, we see John Cena's spinner belt proudly on display, symbolizing that CL and the rest of the girls are indeed 'the best.'

My question to you folks is, which MV utilized the WWF/E's flagship championship better?

Scott Hall's twitter is definitely NSFW. The guy is still "the bad guy". :)

I'm trying to think of instances where WWE finds its way into mainstream media. I remember the Pistons 2004 NBA title team carrying these around:

I remember NFL players for awhile there were doing Booker T's "5 Time WCW Champion" hand gesture.

Cool chart of every wrestler who was in WWF from 1963 to when Chris Jericho won the Undisputed Title in 2001:

Took me awhile to figure out that chart. It's pretty cool.

His debut with Malenko, Perry, and Beniot right in the middle of the McMahon-Helmsley Era, that Smackdown was incredible but, of course, HHH and the rest of DX buried them.
