Looks like Benoit's son (the alive one) will be making his wrestling debut at an indy promotion in Calgary ran by Smith Hart.

Well you'd be surprised how shameless and low some of these indy promoters can stoop to.

So... Vince isn't shameless and low?
I have fought some guys that weren't actually there and I beat them so bad they disappeared.

Vince has his moments, but I just dont think he would hire anyone with the first, middle, or last name of Benoit.

Ah, had forgotten all about that guy. Should brought him back to be Batista's mini-me.

Current Batista is already a mini-me version of the old Batista. Mason Ryan is no real loss. The only question now is if he ends up in TNA to be their new Champion.

I apologize to Dude in advance but is anyone else just kinda tired of RVD?
He's not even really getting nostalgia pop reactions from crowds anymore, doesn't seem to be doing much of anything angle-wise, and in his matches it feels to me like he's basically just going through the motions.

JML, i've never been big on RVD (waits fo the wrath of Dude)... He seems really sloppy in the ring since he came back too

It seems like he's playing the Jericho-type role of "veteran comes in to give younger guys a rub" but I'm not sure he's really giving anyone a good rub. Plus Jericho has his mic skills that he can always fall back on to make people care; RVD has never really had that.
I don't think RVD's evolved as a wrestler or as a character at all for at least the past decade or so

I love RVD, but he looks kind of tired/bored since he's returned.

I've still enjoyed his matches, though.

KENTA is leaving NOAH and WWE is supposedly really close to signing him. He had a tryout for them earlier in the year

Kaientai for the win.

Wonder if he can get over based solely on showing us what Punk's moveset looks like when it's executed well.

The real question is whether he will make it off Superstars.

As for the RVD point, I think the most you can say for him at the moment one way or the other is that he's inoffensive. It's not like he's come in and been thrust in a spot where he's clearly taking a spot that would be better served by someone younger and more permanent. However, it's not like I can honestly say he's adding that much either, sadly. His last run was going much better, IMO. He was put in more interesting positions and he seemed a lot more interested in working than he has so far.
