You guys aren't gonna believe this, but I found an old, hidden thread on the Gamespot forums dated April 8th, 2013 that's only accessible via the Super Dark Web. Since there is no link, I can only copy/past the text of it here. It's from someone called Tick Dickles and he claims to be from the year 2017 and he made some scary accurate posts. Here's what he said: "Hey all, I just got back from the year 2017, and you're gonna think this is crazy, but wrestling is TOTALLY different than it is today. Here are some of the biggest changes and news items: -Brock Lesnar breaks the Streak, Undertaker doesn't retire for years thereafter just sort of meandering about. -CM Punk quit WWE after the Royal Rumble and then married AJ. -Danial Bryan wins the WWE title after beating John Cena at SummerSlam, Randy Orton at another ppv, and then won his third title at Wrestlemania after beating all three members of Evolution in one night, then had to retire a year later due to concussion related illness. - Roman Reigns is chosen to be John Cena 2 and so far gets the same reaction from the fans, despite being presented by WWE as a babyface. -Sting finally leaves TNA and goes to WWE and loses his first match to Triple H. Ends up retiring after suffering injuries from wrestling Seth Rollins for the WWE title in a main event at a ppv. - Shane McMahon returns and has a match with the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania with the stipulation that should he beat Taker, he'd control Raw and thus, WWE. Shane ends up losing and gets control of Smackdown instead. - Hulk Hogan comes back to WWE, hosts Wrestlemania with Rock and Stone Cold, and then gets fired after a sex tape is leaked of him saying the N word. - Kurt Angle comes back to WWE and goes into the Hall of Fame. -Antonio Cesaro and Wade Barrett never amount to anything. - Kofi Kingston, Big E Langston, and Consequences Creed form a stable called New Day. Their gimmick is they're like hipster Black preachers and preach about positivity and wear Unicorn horns, eat fake ceral called Booty O's, and have a magic ice cream cart or some shit. They end up breaking Demolition's tag team title record. -Zeb Coulter becomes Alberto Del Rio's manager and then gets fired a month later. -Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble return as part of Seth Rollin's entourage. -Dolph Ziggler's career never gets any better after beating Del Rio tonight for the WHC. -Donald Trump got elected President of the United States and made Linda McMahon a member of his cabinet. -HBK never comes out of retirement. -Samoa Joe, Kevin Steen, Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Roderick Strong, Prince Devitt, KENTA, Kana, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson all go to WWE. -The WWE Network finally launches as a subscription based internet service similar to Netflix at $9.99 a month. - Matt Hardy creates an original, new gimmick that gets over like crazy, creates a new chant, and saves his career. - Big Show's "ironclad contract" isn't so ironclad, gets fired, and returns to help the Rhodes Brothers beat the Shield and gets cheered in the process. - Goldberg comes back and beats Brock Lesnar in less than 2 minutes." So, yeah, a lot of things the past 4 years has changed in WWE. Not all of them good, but there were definitely some good things that have happened the past several years. I'd say the most disappointing things have been Vince's disinterest in what the fans want to see and Bryan's retirement. That, and maybe Undertaker returning after Brock broke the streak. |

You're forgetting the best change in that NXT went from some jokey game show nonsense into a legit organization with great talents. |
