If Kofi wasn't injured I would have liked to see Kofi and Woods stay as the tag team and Big E spend more time as a singles wrestler. Not necessarily break up New Day, but give Big E another shot as a singles star now that he has a personality. |

At best Big E is a mid card guy. Could be a decent IC champion now that's he's not a tub of meat with a face, but I don't think anything needs to change for him to do that. Basically make Big E the Dean Ambrose of the group with a singles title Which is something I'd like to see done more in all promotions: give a promising tag team wrestler a singles title and use it as the genesis of a split for the team. In fact, that's exactly how American Alpha should be split up in the future. Gable wins a singles title, holds it a few months, and Jordan gets jealous when Gable's the one getting all the photoshoots and WWE Network specials. |

Interesting idea and it's probably something I'd want to hear first before committing to, but I wouldn't have much faith in it. I know Shane used to do commentary and was pretty good at it as he was pretty fired up all the time, but he wouldn't be like that now. Everyone who does commentary is basically like a puppet saying what Vince wants them to say and Shane has fumbled over his scripted promos enough that I don't think he'd be much better at commentary. |
