After Joe beat Balor for the NXT title at a house show 60 mins up the road from me and now Styles beat Owens in MSG, I think it was done for two reasons: 1. Do something big at a house show to bolster attendance. 2. Have a champion, who you don't want to look weak by losing clean on television, lose at an untelevised event.

Have a champion, who you don't want to look weak by losing clean on television, lose at an untelevised event. I don't think WWE really cares about that as champions lose on TV all the time. While he was US Champion Owens lost to Nakamura on Smackdown.

But is there going to be an actual women's title match on the show, too? And Cena vs. Rusev in a flag match? Really, we're doing this shit again? :\ (Also, got thrown off for a second when I saw they were using the Punjabi Prison backdrop on all of the photos. I was like, wait, Styles vs. Owens is seriously in the prison as well? Is this going to be like a Hell in a Cell ppv? lol )

It feels like the same fucking thing we've seen 2-3 months ago. Multi women match, Cena-Rusev, Uso's vs New Day. The only matches that are new or different are the Shinsuke-Corbin match and the Punjabi Prison match, but even that suffers from having two guys who've had two WWE title matches together and both of them featured the exact same finish.

Of course not because then the writers would have to come up with something for the 4 remaining women to do rather than simply putting them all in a fatal fiveway and coasting to the ppv.
