I was never in enjoyment of him winning the championship, but I was for him beating Lesnar as decisively as he did because it was a total shock. The only think I supported in Goldberg winning the title is that it got Lesnar back into the title mix. Lesnar, like it or not, is the biggest star on Raw and for him to go 2 years without a rematch for the WWE title was a plot hole. After he went through Undertaker in 2015, Lesnar should have been involved in the Survivor Series tournament, but he wasn't and we got stuck with Roman and Sheamus in the title mix. Then, Lesnar should have won the Rumble in 2016, but he didn't because of the Wyatt's and Vince's obsession with putting Reigns in the main event of Mania and winning. |
