I would agree with that. For as good as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were together their back and forth antics were pretty much an updated version of what Gorilla and Bobby started earlier.

I know I can't speak for the casuals out there, but I'm sure most casuals, Mr. Coomber being one of them, will agree that Brock's matches are all the same. The only time Brock's matches are different is in triple threats, fatal four ways, and other multi man matches. I'm tired of Brock. Brock's laziness is even rubbing off on Heyman because Heyman's promos aren't as good as they once were and part of that is because of going through the motions and part of it is Heyman isn't playing a heel anymore, nor is Brock. But the fact remains that watching a Brock match in 2017 is just like watching any other Brock match after the him and Punk at Summerslam 2013. And since Brock's basically been out of UFC for so long, I don't really think there is any money in him. If Connor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, or other MMA person came in, there would be because they're new. Brock is old news and costs more than he's worth. And if you've seen the Raw crowds lately, even for advertised Brock appearances, people aren't turning out. PPV's are different, but Brock only works 5 or 6 of those a year and again, it's the same old shit. |

Some super fan you are.  Last week Bray Wyatt defeated Goldust in a match and then once it was over Bray took a rag and rubbed all of Goldust's facepaint off while yelling "He's just a man", or something like that. This in response to his feud with Finn Balor where they'll now have a match where it's marketed as man vs man to Bray's suggestion that there is no "Demon Balor" it's all just facepaint. So Bray saw Goldust has someone who hid behind facepaint when underneath it all he's just a man. So I don't believe he's changed gimmicks now or anything it's just that Goldust went to Kurt Angle and asked for a match because he was humiliated and insulted, so he wanted to get his revenge by being himself, Dustin. But then that didn't work out too well. And I guess this is the end of Goldust's heel thing cause that sure wasn't heelish on his part. |

Now I guess if they really want a heel Goldust, they'll have to buy out Global Force Wrestling's ownership of the Black Reign gimmick. Let's just hope they factor in the cost of doughnuts and ice cream they'll need to supply Dustin with to "bulk up" to become Black Reign again. |
