At this point, what the fuck is the reason to watch Wrestlemania as a wrestling fan? AJ vs Shinsuke? Not if Vince McMahon gets his grubby hands all over it. At the rate Smackdown is going, Jinder is going to be champ forever and Nakamura will be doing Praying Mantis bicycle kicks as his finisher.

And whatever happens in the meantime is just meant to keep Roman strong. You watch. Every singles match Roman has until Mania he will either win, lose via shenanigans, or will be a DQ. Roman will not be pinned clean in a singles match for another 3 years. And its not like Roman's promos are great and worth watching. So, there's really no reason to watch him... or Brock for the next 6 months.

Vince McMahon was happy with No Mercy as things went exactly as they planned and the company delivered two ‘WrestleMania quality’ matches with clear non-controversial finishes. All this is said to be part of the ‘Bigger Picture’ for WrestleMania 34 as Brock Lesnar’s strong build up will make the strongest impression when Roman Reigns will finally defeat him at WrestleMania next year. Of course Vince fucking loved those matches, he's the guy that booked them and it's all the plan to the coronation of Roman Reigns for the 5th fucking time. And when Mania comes and Roman goes through Brock in 15 minutes, he's still not gonna fucking be over. In fact, I see Goldberg-Lesnar at WrestleMania 20 levels of reaction. Unless the fans actually lap up the Shield reunion in such a way that they start cheering Roman, which I think is likely to happen because Seth and Dean seemingly can't have a bad tag team match.

Gotcha... At this point, Raw and Smackdown just appeal to what Vince wants to see and it's almost as though Vince is the only viewer of the show that matters. The millions of those who still watch it who aren't him or the millions more who have stopped watching altogether are irrelevant.
