Since the Intercontinental Championship will more than likely not be defended at the TLC ppv do you guys think Miz shouldn't have the belt? He's rejuvenated himself ever since that Talking Smack promo that he deserved to go onto bigger and better things so it's almost like at this point he's above needing the title to make himself look credible. Sure, the title itself may be elevated by being associated with him, but I think it would look even better by having guys fighting for it near weekly. |

I can see the benefit of having younger, less established guys battling for those secondary titles on both shows and having an open challenge match every week, especially given the absence of Lesnar on Raw and how shitty Mahal is on SD. But Miz holding the IC title gives it a relevance it hasn't had in a very long time and I like having semi-main event talent holding the secondary titles because those are for whom the titles are best used on. Like when Jeff Hardy had that title match with Miz before the injury. Hardy may not be main title worthy at this stage of his career, but he's still super over and the IC title is right up his alley. I don't think having Jason Jordan feuding with the likes of Bo Dallas or Bray Wyatt over the title is going to get them over because WWE's proven that when it comes to certain guys, they just don't know how the hell to book them. I.E. Neville. The main guys that Vince takes personal interest in, like Reigns, Cena, Lesnar... they're always going to get the strongest material possible to keep them hot and selling merch and tickets, but when it comes to the guys Vince doesn't care about, it's pretty much just filler. |
