Like I said, I think instead of having someone be "sucked down" to his level, suck somebody up to job to him like Zack Ryder or Mojo. Fuck, make it Xavier Woods or Kofi Kingston. If Vince is bound and determined to keep the title on Jinder into December, then feed guys in a tag team or an over jobber babyface to him. Thankfully Styles is not going up against Mahal, he's going to do other stuff, but Nakamura could still be thrown into the Maharaja's Dungeon once again. I'd rather see Nakamura go up against Corbin and win the US title off him and Nakamura can start his own US open challenge, you know, a real one, not that shit AJ Styles was doing that always ended in interference. Good matches and wins will help heal the damage that working with Mahal has done to Nakamura and also... it may be a litmus test to see if Nakamura is a good fit for WWE at all. He's only been up on the main roster for a few months and he's not done anything of note since he arrived. A US title reign may be what fixes Nakamura. |
