The only sense I can make of this is that Braun didn't like that Triple H screwed team member Kurt because A. Braun's been screwed when he was a member of a team before (TLC this year) and B. Had it been Braun about to beat Shane, Triple H would have attacked him.

So now, Braun becomes the top babyface on Raw to fight the resurgent Authority of Stephanie, Triple H, and Kane.

Overall, I would say that was a solid show, even though nothing about it really screamed 'classic' -- apart from maybe the Lesnar-Styles match.
Oh yes, it's true it's true!

That Braun and HHH confrontation was odd. I was honestly expecting Jason Jordan to come out and ambush HHH. HHH kicks his ass, then Angle comes back in and finishes the job. Angle and Jordan stand tall, then Jordan attacks Angle for the swerve.

but nope, we get Braun attacking HHH which isn't going to lead anywhere.

Idk, it's very possible Braun and Triple H could end up being a Wrestlemania match.

We'll see what the storyline is on Raw come tomorrow. With Survivor Series over I'm wondering if we're going to continue to see Stephanie and Triple H as the Authority again, which given that Lesnar is gonna be MIA for the next 2 months, it leaves Miz as the top champion and Braun in the Steve Austin role battling a McMahon.

There's no guarantee that Kurt gets to stay as GM, Stephanie can fire him at anytime like she did Foley.

Just watched AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar, again don't watch the WWE unless i think a match has potential. Safe to say this was Brock Lesnars only other good wrestling match i've seen since his return years ago, the first being against CM Punk at Summerslam.

I've always said to others the only way Lesnar has a good match is when he steps into a ring with someone else who knows how to actually wrestle, only took 4 more years for that to happen. Pretty decent match i'd say.

I liked the two matches Lesnar did with Taker in 2015, but they were more spectacles because I knew at the time Taker wasn't going to be around much longer.

The match Brock did with Joe this Summer was not bad, but it doesn't hold a candle to the match he had with AJ Styles. I still say the match with Punk at SummerSlam is the best Brock match he's had since he returned in 2012 because at least in that match, you didn't know who was going to walk away the winner since at that time Brock was being used mostly to put guys over. With Styles, we knew that he wasn't going to win because we know who's going to "slay the beast" for the championship.

And I think that was another thing that was missing from the match: the fact that neither title was being defended. Were they, it would have added a lot to the match and made a champion vs champion match feel bigger. In fact, compared to the WWE and WHC title unification match that Cena and Orton had in 2013, had the WWE and Universal titles been on the line, it would have been a better title match than that pathetic match between Orton and Cena at TLC 2013.

Also, when it comes to Lensar, given how he wrestles matches today, it's difficult to get the most out of him. Ask Dean Ambrose. Then again, I can't think of a Dean Ambrose singles match that I've seen the past few years that stands out, so you may be right. I think we tend to overlook bad Lesnar matches in the early 00's because it was so long ago and pretty much all his matches in 2002 were squash matches.
