The "bigger is better" mentality in WWE is so out of control, I feel like I want WWE to do a show in the Hammerstein Ballroom with Joey Styles as the only commentator calling matches, which are all matches of a single wrestler wrestling a broomstick in empty arena matches. |

Ehh, pretty whack show. It promoted Clash of Champions, but the problem is Clash of Champions isn't very exciting. The Yep movement was okay, though. |

It wasn't a whack show, it was a fucking lazily written show. Every match followed the same formula of somebody from outside, usually someone who was doing commentary, getting involved. That, on top of all the Smackdown women coming out to attack the Riott Squad, just like the Raw women did to Absolution the night before. There were some good parts, as always, but the blatant laze just pissed me off. I don't feel I should reward WWE by giving them my 9.99. Doesn't help that Clash of Chumps sounds like it's going to compete with Battleground as the worst ppv of the year. Both of those shows being SD ppv's. |
