(Only now they're just calling it "The Stomp"? What?) I wonder what made them suddenly change their mind on allowing him to use that move. Also see that he's still using the buckle bomb, and I gotta tell ya, that legit pissed me the hell off seeing him use that. Seriously, after retiring Sting with it and taking out Balor for a year, why the fuck is he still using that move?!

I think they ended up letting him use the stomp again because he went through a couple different finishers, pedigree, a knee that never got a name as Cole just kept calling it "The Knee", and none of them really felt like they belonged as a finisher for him. According to wikipedia, back when he was Tyler Black the stomp was called the "Blackout." Don't see why WWE didn't just change the name to that, it works just fine. It seemed more that WWE didn't like the name itself because... well, imagine if children went riding on up to the internet and searched on google "Curb Stomp" what they'd find. No, "The Stomp" yields good wholesome family pictures while the curb stomp gets you shit that I won't even dare search.
