Does make me wonder what Rock's last match in WWE will be because him and Erick Rowan should not go down in history of being the Rock's last wrestling match and you know Rock's last match is going to be at Wrestlemania. Rock is getting to that age where he'll be past his prime and able to do a comeback after being gone for so long, so if Rock wants to do it, he better do it before he turns 50.
I'd argue he's already been well past his prime for some time now. Both of his matches against Cena were horrible, and his matches against Punk weren't exactly anything worth writing home about, either. And if he can't pull out something good against those two, I don't like his chances against, well, just about anyone else at this point.

I'm talking about physically. He's in amazing shape for anyone, let alone a 46 year old man, but once someone hits 50, it's like they fall apart. Rock, the cocky sports jock, cutting promos with sagging skin and wrinkles and a Colin Delaney in ECW body isn't gonna be the same as the Rock is right now.

No, if Rock is going to do a retirement match, it has to be done sooner rather than later, be it a good match or a shit show like WM29, which I'll remind everyone that Rock worked half that match with a hernia.

Hell, unless he comes back otherwise, I don't see any issue considering his second match against Cena as his retirement. The Rowan match was really more of a comedy bit than anything, or a one-off quick shot that we see other retired wrestlers occasionally do. Trish and Lita came back for the Rumble, though I doubt we'll consider that their new retirement match, even though it technically came last. Same for everyone who appeared in the gimmick battle royal at WM17.

If he is going to wrestle again it will likely be a shorter match or a tag match or something where he does very little. He suffered injuries in both his 28 and 29 matches and his insurance company isn't likely to take that risk again. If he got injured and it caused delays in filming the movies he's got lined up that could fuck up a lot of things, so he would be advised not to wrestle. Plus if its just a short squash match where he beats up Rusev what's the point in that?

I like the idea of the triple threat match between Miz, Rollins and Balor. Could be a solid bout.

Another reason this whole John Cena being desperate to get to Wrestlemania is stupid is because whatever match he does get automatically makes it seem less than. He failed at the Rumble, he failed at Elimination Chamber and let's say he fails at Fastlane then if he does get a match with Undertaker or Rey Mysterio it comes across more like a last resort than any sort of a dream match. Cena's only going to wrestle so-and-so because he's desperate instead of wrestling to end a feud or having something to prove or whatever.

It's gonna Reign up in dis bitch.
After losing at Fast Lane, Cena will come on 205 Live and beg to be placed in the tournament for a chance to win the Cruiserweight title at mania.

Yeah, so if this does end up being Undertaker's last match the story behind it will be that John Cena was desperate to get on the card at Wrestlemania he challenged the Undertaker, then said that's impossible, got into the WWE title match, lost, and the match just came together instead of it being focused on Cena wanting nothing more than the Undertaker at Mania.

Which is opposite of the way Flair's career in WWE ended and Shawn Michaels career ended.
