This thumbnail reminded me that Ronda did beat up Sonya but it was such a dumb decision. I get that Ronda is a real MMA fighter and skilled at it while Sonya probably isn't, but now Sonya just looks like a jobber. She didn't match up at all so now she's a goof. I'm not saying Sonya is the greatest pro-wrestler but there's potential so they could have built Sonya up and then down the line sacrificed her to Ronda, but here they just threw it all away. What a crazy company. |

Everyone except Charlotte is going to get sacrificed to Ronda, Sonya won't be the only one. That said, I don't see anything in Sonya Deville at this point to lead me to believe that she's anything special. She is athletic, but that's about it. Her ring work comes off as basic, her talking ability is crap, and her looks are below average. I think it was a mistake to bring her up to WWE when they did it, if anything it was Peyton Royce and Billie Kay who should have been put with Paige, Sonya remain in NXT, and Mandy Rose brought up on her own or put as a team with someone like Alexa Bliss. The Riott Squad, for as unspecial as they come off actually have chemistry to me. The three of them are far better off together than they are separate right now. As time goes on that will change, but when they came up last year, they were the right choices. Sonya would not have fit in any permutation of the Riott Squad.  Raw Preview: April 23, 2018 Four nights before defending his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, Brock Lesnar makes his way to Monday Night Raw. What havoc will The Beast Incarnate unleash during his first live WWE appearance since mauling The Big Dog at WrestleMania? The Conqueror cometh. Universal Champion Brock Lesnar utterly dismantled Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but despite suffering a painful defeat on The Grandest Stage of Them All, The Big Dog remains determined to defeat The Beast Incarnate in their rematch inside a Steel Cage at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia next Friday, streaming live on WWE Network. Lesnar makes his first live appearance since The Show of Shows on Raw, and his advocate Paul Heyman will no doubt have much to say about the impending return bout inside the unforgiving steel.
