The concept of the Riott Squad is always good on paper and Ruby really makes the group feel more legit when she puts them over on the mic, but the resultant booking for the Riott Squad is totally lame. They want to Riott? Do what Rousey did and throw Kurt Angle around and blackmail Constable Corbin by threatening to release his fatty pictures when he was in football to make the matches they want.

I wonder if Roman would get cheered in his singles matches if he had Seth and/or Ambrose out in his corner during matches. I'm betting he would considering that Shield reunion just had them standing together cutting promos and the fans cheered while Roman talked. The Shield was a great group/stable at the time, but we've been exposed to all three of them so much over the years that the specialness of the Shield reuniting has really diminished, especially when they're all babfaces.

Doesn't help there's no Lesnar on the show each week, course were he to be his appearances wouldn't feel all that special. Same with Ronda and her 30 day "suspension." There's really not much on Raw that's worth watching other than Rollins, Braun, and Ronda. That should change when Lesnar FINALLY loses the belt and Braun has it at some point, then Ambrose will probably return soon as a heel and him and Rollins can feud. Maybe they could even include Roman in that feud and the pay off will be Roman locked in a shark cage suspended over a pit of molten lava.

Kinda makes me think of way back when the brands had separate PPVs, but alternated months. But instead of spending two months building up to a PPV, they would basically waste one month with filler, and then once it was their turn to have a PPV that month, then they would finally start building towards it. Always frustrated the hell out of me.
