This is what sold me. I was expecting an actual Network, but something like Netflix for all WWE content, including ALL PPV's, for the price, that is outstanding. The PPV's usually cost, what, $45 to $60, maybe even more (I've lost track in all honesty). If you buy the Network JUST for the PPV's, you are getting them for $9.99. Sure, you are forced into a 6 month commitment, but with this launching just after Elimination Chamber, it means Wrestlemania 30 can be seen for $9.99, plus you'll be able to go back and watch The Royal Rumble, and Elimination Chamber.

Obviously it is something to dig more into, but it looks a lot better than anyone could have imagined honestly.

Nope. It is like Netflix. You can watch it on your smartphone, video game system, computer, you name it. It's truly a great deal from what I'm reading.

Like I said in the random thread, if you were planning on buying WM this year anyway it pretty much pays for itself. Add in the other 5 live PPVs you'll get during that 6 months, literally every past PPV ever, and a bunch of historic stuff and it really is a good deal.

This is a great deal for me, being someone who came into Wrestling in 2007, I have a lot to catch up on. I've also never been able to watch PPVs, because the DVR in my house is hogged by my folks every PPV Sunday, and there is no way I'm watching it on the computer, because then I wouldn't be able to chat here (since I'd be flipping back and forth).

With the WWE Network, I'll be able to watch the PPV's on my PS3, and chat with everyone here no problem. For only $10 a month, it is a great deal. I already pay for Netflix monthly, sure, but this is just something I don't think I'll be able to pass up. Should the price start moving up within the next few years though, and I'll likely consider dropping the service.

Cool, now I can get rid of my TV provider and still watch all the wrestling I want.
I have fought some guys that weren't actually there and I beat them so bad they disappeared.

I'm not 100% sure if you'd be able to watch Raw and Smackdown live. They didn't really specifically state that, only that they will have a Raw and Smackdown reairing thing. I'm assuming the option would be there, other wise that might upset some people.

The post shows will be interesting though, just to see what they do with them. Hopefully they aren't filled with recaps of what happened. I'm assuming we'll get stuff like that Backstage pass segments, maybe even the dark match (depending on how long the post show is).

I guess we'll get confirmation soon enough if we'll be able to watch Raw or SD live. I don't see why WWE couldn't just stream exactly what's on USA and SyFy so that way the advertisers are still getting all the viewers that they're paying for. The only people who really get hurt by not featuring live Raw's and SD's are the cable/sat providers, but WWE doesn't get paid by them so again, I don't see any reason why Raw and SD wouldn't be offered as well.

The issue I see is legal ones. I'm not well brushed up on legal issues, but it wouldn't surprise me if in their contracts with NBC Universal, the WWE has to promise not to stream out their shows as they happen. I could be wrong though. We'll find out for sure either on Monday the 24th of February, or if the 'E decides to hold another Q & A session.

SOLD! 6-month commitment kind of sucks, but literately $10 per PPV, including WrestleMania? That's a steal.

It's already been booked - I got a great deal on Priceline!
They were saying during the conference paying for all the PPVs this year would cost $675 (or something in that region). Going on the network where they're all provided for you, that'd be $119.88 - that's an 82% saving on costs for America.

And that is what sold it to me. PPV's being on board for essentually $10 a month is a great deal, along with everything else.

I'm kind of shocked, really. WWE did something that I think 80% of people can get behind. It's like seeing a freaking unicorn at this point.
