Having major problems viewing wwe network on google chrome for Windows 8. I'm already subscribed and it works wonderfully on the wwe app on my smartphone and on internet explorer, but I want chrome because of chromecast so I can view it on my tv. I click on the upper right wwe network icon and it takes me to a stupid link asking me to buy the wwe network. It's very irritating.

Anyone else gotten this problem besides me?

Are you logged in? That's the only thing I could possibly think of... That or it is just acting up. I have Chrome, but haven't even tried watching it on my computer since shortly after I got it. I went straight to downloading the app on my PS3, and started watching it there.

yeah I'm loged in, but it still doesn't think I bought the network. Can you do me a favor and try using it on your google chrome browser? Let me know what happens. Costumer service was useless and just told me to use Internet Explorer lol.

Anything worth watching on the Raw Preshow?
Flair was Flair, and pretty much buried Kofi.
What did he say?

Also, KOTR died right as Hulk-Yoko was getting started.

I'll say this, though, I actually like Bret-Perfect from KOTR more than their more famous Summerslam encounter. It's kind of like Punk-Cena, IMO. Summerslam and MITB have those intangibles, but I just love the details of the KOTR match.
Booker said Kofi is the guy, and Flair said if he wants to be the guy he better buy a jet because it's a long way to WM.

It worked just fine for me. So I'm not really sure what the problem would be for you.

Man, I always knew ECW was a produced on the cheap, but wow, early ECW is rough stuff. In particular, looks like they are using cheap cameras from 5-10 years earlier.

Well I spent almost two hours yesterday once RAW ended in costumer service and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my Chrome. I tried accessing the WWE network on a friend's laptop using Google Chrome and it worked for them and he even has Chromecast too. Idk wtf happened or is wrong with my Chrome, but I just decided to buy a HDMI cable and just connect my laptop to my tv and stream like that. I'm just using Internet Explorer though because that one works for me.

According to Twitter, 20% of buyers have already had issues with the WWE Network.

That number seems too low ;)
Only $9.99 a month?

Eh, depends what most people were trying to do on it.

The on-demand part was iffy for all of yesterday but the livestream part of it seemed to work just about flawlessly on my computer. I haven't really looked at it today

It looks like they added little dots for where specific matches are on events. That definitely wasn't there yesterday. I was hoping they'd do something like this.

That's actually pretty awesome. Wouldn't have thought they'd take the time out to implement something like that.

Different perspective on the WWE Network from Vice:

http://www.vice.com/read/how-wwe-really-killed-wrestling-the-wwe-network

The guy's main point is that with people locked into 6+ month contracts, WWE won't be as motivated to put together cards that their fans actually want to see since they'll be getting their money either way.

Quote:

Yes, you’re getting pay-per-views at a much lower price. But because each pay-per-view now comes as part of the package, they no longer have to sell themselves on their own merits. In other words, I’ve committed to ordering every disappointing pay-per-view event that WWE puts out this year at a reduced rate because I want to watch their old shows.

By all accounts, April’s WrestleMania XXX is going to be a dump. The top matches have either been announced or are rapidly establishing themselves: Randy Orton versus Batista for the championship, Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar, John Cena versus Bray Wyatt, and Daniel Bryan versus Triple H. Each match is a disappointment when compared to other choices that WWE could have made. There’s no way that I’d pony up the old pay-per-view charge of $60 to watch this parade of flawed visions and missed opportunities, but I would happily pay $60 for six months of unlimited access to the more compelling WrestleManias of past years. The frustrating current product can therefore sustain itself on our nostalgia for the archive.

Thoughts?

*sigh*

You know what, I could right an essay describing how flawed their logic is, but I'm not going to do that. If WWE truly believe they have no reason to push current talent or build upon the roster in any way, then I have no reason to waste my time talking about them, nor will I waste my money on their product.

I'm pretty sure I posted something similar to this a while back. As usual my Elrond Foresight just went to far over everyone's heads around here.
I have fought some guys that weren't actually there and I beat them so bad they disappeared.

Wait someone needs to explain this to me better.

If i'm correct here because i'm to tired to fucking concentrate. Are you saying that the WWE will no longer make good cards for PPVS and continue to make them shyte because now you have the WWE Network and future PPVS don't matter anymore?

Makes you wonder what might happen once most Network members have watched almost every PPV on offer. Obviously it will be a long, long time to wait before it gets to that point, but there will come a time where people want more quality entertainment. Which is a reason why WWE would be stupid to follow through with this logic if they don't want this to bite them on the a$$ later down the line.

We all know that such things will never happen. WWE looking ahead is one of the company's strengths.

This is why I think this article is flawed. After 6 months most casual fans will have probably watched any old PPVs they were interested in and so the archive won't be a huge selling point for them anymore. They won't watch everything in 6 months, but I'm guessing the average WWE fan doesn't care about World Class Championship Wrestling or NWA shows from the 80s. From that point forward the main draw for those sorts of people would be the live PPVs and so it would be in WWE's best interest to put on shows that their fans will be interested in.
