i saw it was going to be on and decided to just watch the taker match... that match never gets old watching elimination chamber 2012 now... the y2j angle w him being "knocked out" was really lame... underwhelming match to be honest watching the smackdown ec match now everything benoit related has been cut out... i understand, but sucks since he was a great wrestler im a lil dissapointed there arent documentaries or content of that nature... is it coming later? |

I went and watched Benoit stuff. It just seems like if you search for "Chris Benoit" specifically nothing will come up but I haven't actually seen any of his matches cut out

Yeah... I was watching Cyber Sunday 2006 (I think that was the one), and the first match was the fans got to pick the opponent for Umaga. The choices were Kane, Chris Beniot, and I honestly forget who the third choice was... But Chris Beniot was shown and mentioned. They didn't cut out announcing his name at all. The real PPV to go and watch will be the one from the night he died. To see if they removed all the mentions of him no showing. |

hey Spidey, i remember that PPV, Benoit was supposed to wrestle C.M. Punk for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and it was John Morrison who wrestled in his place that night. |

Yup, I remember as well. It was shortly after I got into Wrestling. I barely knew Chris Beniot, but remember that whole thing fairly well. I even remember the ECW leading up to the PPV, which is kind of shocking. |

i watched the PPV at a friend's house. we were both shocked when Benoit no showed only to find he got a text message from his wife to come home. when i heard the news the next day he was dead, i was in more shock and thought his Family was killed by Carbon Monoxide Poisoning then the news broke the next day he killed his wife and one of the kids and then himself. i was shocked and stunned but i will never forget him as he was a good Wrestler and had some awesome matches with Kurt Angle and HHH. |
