What? What? What? What?
last nights NXT Special Event, NXT Take Over was amazing. the WWE Network has it main attraction and it is NXT. i know some of you watched it and i bet you were all amazed with the Sami Zayn/Tyler Breeze match last night, i know i was. also the NXT Women's Title Match between Charolotte and Natalya was amazing. WWE neeeds longer Divas matches. i know Spidey agrees with me on that issue.

The diva's match was some of the best mat wrestling I've seem in a match in a while... Male or female... Again, the stories told in the 3 big matches were so well executed

Watched the Countdown of the Greatest Managers. Not only do I have no complaints about the list or order itself, but it was very enjoyable to watch overall. A lot of great blast from the past stuff along with the always fun commentary from the wrestlers.

Roman Reigns also NAILS a Paul Bearer impersonation.

Very entertaining.

I think Cornette was a pretty big omission but the problem is that there's nobody on the list where you go "wtf? why is that person there?"

I guess I'd probably say Cornette > Mr Fuji but it's not like Fuji is undeserving of a spot.

Good call. I forgot all about Cornette. Thing that probably sinks Cornette is that he's not associated with a very successful time in WWE, despite the fact he was managing EVERYONE.

If any list could have used an honorable mentions, this would probably be the one. There were a lot of guys that I'd have liked to hear a little something mentioned about them, from Cornette to Slick to Virgil to Sonny to Sable to Bill Alfonso to Lita to Flair. This was a really entertaining and competitive list.

Zeb Colter is probably borderline too at this point. He's proof of how helpful managers can still be even in today's wrestling world.

Fucking around on the WWE Network during it's free week. Shawn Vs. Austin at WM14 was a lot better than I remember it to be.

Something I realized on the network: World War 3 matches kinda blew, didn't they? Tons of guys standing around doing nothing, no surprise entrances like the Rumble since everyone's in at the start, the tri-screen thing that made it so you can't concentrate on anything, etc.

Basically just too many dudes. Would be fun as hell in a video game though.

Yeah, I've always been a sucker for Battle Royals and so back in the day WW3 was something I looked forward to... finding out what happened the next night on Nitro. I never actually watched the show. It really doesn't work in reality.

Gets me thinking though, how badly has WWE dropped the ball not bringing back War Games for the Shield at some point?

TGO2 was in the building that night. Greatest wrestling moment I've seen live.

Still think it's the GOAT WM match. Don't care what anyone says.

With a few weeks to go until we get updated WWE Network numbers, it's starting to feel more and more like WWE botched the execution of the roll-out of the service.

On the content front, the problems are numerous, and it's beyond unclear if anyone has a clue what they're doing.

...

Which brings us to what IS in the on demand library. While there was disappointment with whatever happened to the home video content and the tiny amount of non-PPV content, it was clearly going to grow quickly. Several episodes of Raw were being added each week in chronological order (with "Best of" episodes dropping as well) as well as a steady stream of World Class, ECW, and "Old School" WWF house shows. Barring a single Old School update, none of the latter three shows have had "new episodes" on the stream or added to the on demand library since April. Why? Nobody knows. It's one thing to strategically roll out new batches of old shows like Clash of the Champions or Saturday Night's Main Event. But for shows that are already there to stop receiving updates after a steady stream for the first five or six weeks is puzzling. Binge viewers have been left hanging and the belief among some fans that WWE has the shows ready to go (edited and captioned) is not helping with their morale.

There's also an increasing number of fans angry that more content that aired on Classics on Demand and the WWE Classics website (since it's already digitized and has music edits done) isn't available. While it's not quite that simple (every show on WWE Network is closed captioned, and that takes time if they don't have the original captions for shows that aired with them), the perception is there.

It's disappointing hearing these reports about how the network has been underperforming because I still like it.

I hope they don't increase the price on the Network because I love it. Just having the PPV's live whenever I want them is worth the price alone, but it's a great alternative when Netflix gets boring, too.

It's already been booked - I got a great deal on Priceline!
Doesn't help with all the plugging outside of America with the Network either, when it's only the USA that can get it currently.

Upping the price would probably kill the network if you ask me. $10 is a good price for me but $15 or $20 a month would make me want to drop it. I'm assuming a lot of network subscribers are the same way

Half-watching Countdown: best entrances while watching Raw.

7. Jericho
6. Mysterio

And Warrior was 8

EDIT: And talking about how great Sandman's entrance is while not referencing nor playing Enter Sandman loses some points... which are made up for by making fun of the Sandman as a wrestler.
