Regarding issues between Steve Austin and Vince McMahon, they are said to be directly related to the live Austin podcast interview with Triple H that aired on the WWE Network back in February.

McMahon was not happy with some of the questions Austin had for Triple H during the interview, and while this has yet to be confirmed, the belief is that the questions about Chyna going into the WWE Hall Of Fame some day were the ones that really bothered him.

The questions ultimately led to Chyna resurfacing on YouTube and making accusations about Triple H physically abusing her in the past, which prompted Triple H to have to release a statement and get the company more negative press.

When WWE decided they wanted to bring a podcast to the WWE Network as part of their new programming lineup, McMahon wanted a different host and he chose Chris Jericho. It’s already believed that Jericho’s first podcast, which will feature an interview with WWE United States Champion John Cena, will be much more “company-friendly.”

Jericho’s first live podcast on the WWE Network is scheduled to air this coming Monday night immediately following WWE RAW.

To be fair, the Chyna question seemed innocent enough at the time. Who woulda predicted she'd resurface and fall back off the rails again after the fact? Hell, just watching her videos, who's really gonna take anything she says seriously anyways? It's not Austin's fault this ridiculous company feels the need to release public statements and draw attention to every silly little thing someone says about them on the internet.

McMahon wants a "company friendly" podcast now?

I not so strangely find myself less interested in these podcasts now. I love Austin's podcasts because he's very close to playing hardball with his guests. Jericho doesn't have the Steve Austin Ballsack of I Don't Give A Fuck, a ballsack that is known to be so hard as to be able to not just scratch, but slice through the McMahon Brass Ring.

i am considering getting this, are Raw shows on WWE Network?
Raw, Smackdown, & NXT replays are all available on the WWE Network. The only thing you won't be able to do is watch some of these shows live using the Network (only PPVs & NXT).
so i can't watch Raw?
Raw and Smackdown replays are added to the archive a month after they air, and are not shown live on the Network. So no, if you still want Raw, you need either Hulu, USA, or a friend who has either Hulu or USA. I would have said Youtube as well, but WWE is just like every other asshat corporation that takes down videos they didn't put up themselves.
oh come on! How the hell am i suppose to watch Raw?

It's dumb, I know.

I'm sure they'll update to live Raw/Smackdown broadcasts on the WWE Network eventually.

It's gonna Reign up in dis bitch.
I was also wondering. WWE has produced movies and why not put them on the Network? Surely movies like Marine 1-3 aren't making money anymore, so why not slap it on the Network? Same goes for Orton's movies and maybe Kane's.

From the sounds of it the interview with Cena and Jericho was actually better than Raw.

WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has addressed several rumors about his relationship with WWE in the latest “Steve Austin Show” at PodcastOne.com. There have been a lot of reports regarding Austin’s status with the company, why he didn’t appear at WrestleMania weekend, the reason he’s not involved in the new season of Tough Enough and more. Here’s what he said:

– He was never supposed to be on The Undertaker’s flight to WrestleMania weekend. He’s not even sure exactly where Taker lives these days, but at no point was Austin supposed to travel with him.

– There were no creative discussions for him to participate at WrestleMania. He didn’t turn down any ideas, he just wasn’t booked to be there. He watched the entire event from home.

– He denies that he has heat with WWE for turning down Tough Enough. He had been in talks with WWE for quite some time to be one of the coaches for the show. They were supposed to start filming in February and March. Because it’s such a big production, things got delayed. By the time WWE was ready to start filming, he had already committed to CMT for a new season of Broken Skull Challenge. Participating in Tough Enough would have been an “absolute blast” because that was his first TV hosting gig. It was a scheduling conflict and nothing more.

– As for his Steve Austin Podcast on the WWE Network, Austin said the reason another installment hasn’t been booked is because the two sides couldn’t agree on a deal. There is no truth to the reports that Vince McMahon was unhappy with the questions he asked during their interview. There was an offer on the table but they couldn’t get a deal done. He’s on great terms with WWE and is completely open to working with the company again.

There is no animosity from any standpoint between him and WWE.

Channels bring ads. Ads bring revenue. Revenue from shows on channels as far as I know usually goes mostly to the channel and only a little to the show. So unless the USA Network feels like they don't need the ad revenue Raw brings them anymore and makes a new contract that allows WWE to air replays on the Network immediately, I doubt that it will happen anytime soon. I could be wrong, but I think that was the issue back when the Network started adding replays.

I'm currently watching Jericho's interview with John Cena and I have to admit that it's really rather interesting.

Cena's response to Jericho asking about whether or not he would ever consider becoming a heel summed up just how pointless it would be.

John Cena mentioned during his appearance on Chris Jericho’s podcast this past Monday night that he was close enough to turning heel during his feud with The Rock that he recorded new theme music and had new ring gear made.

Cena spent approximately $5,000 to have new gear made, however he ultimately cancelled the order before it was officially made. Cena told the seamstress, Sue Kotulski, to use the money he spent on new attire for the WWE talents in developmental instead of giving him a refund.

Eventually, Cena went to WWE developmental, which was in Tampa at the time, and told the same story in what ended up being referred to as “The Cena Scholarship.” Each month, coaches in WWE’s developmental system voted on who the most outstanding talents of the month were. Whoever received the most votes would get a $500 credit towards having new gear made by Kotulski.

I think the point Mark was trying to make here is that it's easy as f*ck to create a fake account and sign up for a free Network month.

Nah, I'm too lazy to bother making a free account for a show that in all likelihood is gonna be meh.

I'll pay for MitB tho. Should be interesting seeing who's gonna get the case. My guess is Wyatt or Reigns.

It's already been booked - I got a great deal on Priceline!
Fun fact with MitB: Unless you include Ziggler being given the World Heavyweight Championship in 2011 (which he lost 15 minutes later back to Edge), the last time someone won their first World Title NOT via the briefcase was Sheamus in 2009.
