PARIS -- Daniel Nestor wasnt about to lose his poise after collecting his third straight French Open doubles title at the expense of his biggest rivals. Nestor and partner Max Mirnyi of Belarus repeated as French Open doubles champions with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over American brothers Bob and Mike Bryan on Saturday. "You dont want to take your clothes off and start dancing around the court when you win," said Nestor. "We have a lot of respect for the opposition today." The top-seeded Nestor team will keep the ATP No.1 ranking as a result of the victory -- the third in a row for the 39-year-old from Toronto after winning the 2010 trophy with former partner Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia. Nestor and Mirnyi took over the points lead on May 7, ending the Bryans 90-week reign as the top team. Nestor, who came to Paris with a record 77 doubles titles, claimed his eighth Grand Slam title with the solid Paris victory. "Unbelievable, its a great feeling," said the Canadian. "It was not the best match by some of us on the court today, including myself and definitely them. "But Max was very solid from start to finish. He played great, he carried us. That was important today. Regardless, a Slam is a Slam and to beat the best team probably of all time in the finals is a good feeling." Nestor served out the final as he set up a second match point with the teams eighth ace, then watched a Bryan service return sail over the baseline for victory on the next point. The match took less than 90 minutes on the Chatrier showcase court in early evening sun. Nestor said a change of attitude after a semifinal loss in Madrid last month gave his team a lift. "We were getting a little bit tight and hitting safe in the big moments," said Nestor. "We made a commitment to really bear down in the big moments and play aggressive, stick to our game plan and really be mentally tough. "We had a tough first round, second round. But we really went after these guys, we didnt hold back. If we play like that were a tough team to beat." Nestor and Mirnyi, who are playing their second season together, levelled their record against the Bryans to 2-2 after also defeating them at the year-end event in London. Nestor broke the Bryans in the opening set, taking a 3-2 lead as the threat of rain at the start of play appeared to pass. Mirnyi sealed the set after 37 minutes as he put over a huge service winner, with Nestor producing a smooth cross-court volley winner on the first set point. The Bryans went down a break in the third game of the second set after saving three break points, only to fall on the fourth as Nestor took the 2-1 lead. That margin held up as Nestor held for 4-2 with the finishing line looking near. Nestor has now won four Roland Garros titles over the past six editions with three different partners. He and Mark Knowles of the Bahamas claimed their first in 2007 and lost the final the next year. Cheap NFL Jerseys . -- Another 15-inning marathon, another victory. nfl jerseys china .
